Go to the knowledge organisers on the school website and download the knowledge organisers for Sport (Barriers and solutions to sport PDF) and self quiz for the three topic areas completed so far:

Topic area 1- Issues which affect participation in sport.

Topic area 2- The role of sport in promoting values.

Topic area 3- The implications of hosting a major sporting event for a city or country.

Complete log for main sport over the summer ready to hand in as evidence in January.  Ask teacher if require new one.

Go to OCR website and practice old past paper questions for Contemporary Issues exam.

Go onto BBC Sport website and keep up to date with any contemporary issues in sport such as athletes behaving well/badly, any athletes taking PED’s and caught, reasons why Australia and New Zealand have decided to host the Women’s World Cup this summer, etc.
